Hi, and welcome to my website!!

My name is Juan Carlos Gibaja, freelance bass player and musician from Madrid, Spain. I´ve been playing bass for nearly fifteen years now, studied at the I.M.T. (Madrid), Ateneo Jazz with Felix Santos, attended a couple of theory lessons with NYC guitarist Adam Levy,...but most of all,...I´m self taught!!

I´ve recorded and gigged with some of the best artists and bands of Spain, and toured nationally and internationally. Also I´ve done lots of club dates with DJ´s and Ballantines tour, Go-Snow.

These days I´m touring with spanish artist VaneXXa , and  working with Rash, Belen Arjona, Margo, among other artists!
